Memories that do not obliterate

envelop this little heart

in a comforting embrace

These little thoughts dance

and take me to the

not-so-distant past

Moments ago, hours, minutes

of your everyday actions and ways

Keeping me satiated and dazed

Away from the ‘I Miss You’ days

Many things have happened in a short while, yet everything feels extended into a long period of time. For all I know now, I’m prepared to defend with all I have between us, prepared to defy all odds, and in the extreme, strain or even cut off relations that do not seem to understand us however much we try to explain, that is my promise to you. For happiness is to be fought for.

i want to fly off with you to the unexplored depths of the world, to heaven, to eternity, to enjoy all wonderful creations of the world, the scenery, the breath of the air, the awe-inspiring cultural differences, food, nature, scenery, where you will hold my hand and wrap me in your warmth and give me all the reassurance and confidence that no one else in the world would be able to replicate, not even the kindest kin.
