Caught a rare movie on Mio, touched me quite a bit. Edward Scissorhands (coincidentally named Edward too), a robot with a heart, an incomplete cyborg with a heart.
His facial expression touched/intrigued me the most, the blank face with forlorn eyes, dark-ringed and weary. Love his gothic look, dunno why. The crazy wild hair, and especially the dark-ringed eyes, bruised with overwhelming sadness and his humane, gentle voice. (He looks like a freak to others; he fascinates me.) An awkward, self-conscious 'human' with a heart to love, yet incapable of love. That look in his eyes seriously captures.
Which reminds me of a poem written during preparation not too long ago.
Here is a little poem for thee.
Scratch, scratch, my ickle tiny sensor
Can't seem to capture thee.
You weird little beating feeling
Thing. Beep, beep, here goes my daily
Meanderings- register, register, a little
Token for thee. Days, weeks, months, years,
This Minute 321 waits for thee; this
Ickle strange beating feeling thing to beep,
With sound and fury, breaking the daily
Beepings and whirrings of Minute 321,
Finally, a token of a pretty beating
Human heart, for thee.
Oh wells, I was supposed to study, ended up frustrated and writing poetry. But it made me study better. Lol. Poem was inspired by robotic, mundane life. University of Blogging crowned me for bad poetry and emo long ago I almost forgot. Sheesh. Oops. Okay, so bad poetry for thee. The website's rather cool, doesn't give you random results. http://www.go-quiz.com/degree/degree.php
