The first holiday outing with friends was yesterday. Samuel, Puay Suan, Amelin, Cindy, Xiao Ting and I went to VivoCity early in the morning. We ate breakfast at The Toast Box and then walked around VivoCity into the various shops, looking at clothing and all. Samuel was once again the 'tour guide', leading us into the shops and gushing about the clothes...

Time drifted by rather slowly as we anticipated the movie Enchanted which we had planned to watch in the early afternoon. We finally entered the cinema (wow it's so spacious and the seats, so comfortable..) ...the movie was really nice! Well, if you're obssessed with fairytales or if you're an escapist of the reality...I actually thought the movie is more for girls to watch but the guys sitting next to me were laughing so loudly at the princess's actions and the way she speaks (so dreamy!) and also gawking at her dresses and all. Lol.

And I guess I discovered the answer to my question about love from the show...true love comes around only when you truly know his personality and all. =)

Enough about all that! After the show, we accompanied Samuel to Robinsons as he had some vouchers to spend. We helped him select some tops for him to try out while some of us were so tired from walking that we sat down and gushed about the male mannequins. -_-

Yeah, that's about it when Samuel finally purchased his clothes and we walked to The Heeren and had dinner and later went home in the early night...

It was rather tiring having to walk from here to there in the city...and I made the mistake of wearing sandals with little heels...ouch. And oh, I received some notice from them about my fingernails...well, they are now a rather dark purple. Felt rather 'dark' these days and decided to paint my nails and toenails (but they are pink). It's a rare thing to do though, and I reckon my nail-painting skills are merely a pass. -_-

This post shall be dedicated only to my current thoughts...

I'm really upset that I have not visited my Ah Ma for like three weeks already...all because of the money quarrel that my mom and my Ah Ma had. Shall not say much here but, does money really makes the world go round, such that even close-knit relationships can be hurt by it? I really miss my Ah Ma, had even planned to stay with her during this holidays, but...

Does money really really makes the world go round? It partly does, or else all events in the world would have stopped functioning and it is used to purchase materials and sustain us humans...but why is money so powerful, so powerful that it can hurt love? Why? I always thought, and still stand by the notion that love conquers the world, not money.

I reckon my mom is shallow, though I should not be feeling this way. My Ah Ma has already apologized, but she said, "Sorry no cure." Really?

My mom has told me quite often that I should marry a rich man in the future. I shook my head at her, and still am. What? Marry a rich man? Adore his money, more than his soul and personality? It's not possible...it's against my conscience. I'd rather live a fuss-free life with a not-rich-but-substantial guy who would love me with all his heart than to live a materialistic life with a rich man. It would seem so superficial. This sounds rather cliche but...yeah, I feel this way. Anyways, I have decided to not spend my future husband's money but make my own money and spend it. Although this sounds so faraway...

The next topic that still baffles me is the topic on love. Does true love really exists, as in there's the one for everyone? What happens if you can't find the one...will you end up single for the rest of your life? Apparently divorce rates are on the high now, so...but...lol.

Is love at first sight possible? Is it possible to love someone whom you barely know his or her true personality and whom you barely talked to?

In the end, there's more questions than there are answers...lol. This is a topic that you can ponder on for a very long time, because it's such a...difficult, hard-to-grasp topic? Lol.

Okay, I'm finally reading the last book of Harry Potter, even though I pre-ordered it. Oh well, it's all because of the O Levels...but. A storybook has stolen its limelight. (Oops. Lol. But I'm still a HP fan!) It's such a surreal, mysterious storybook...well, I've been eyeing it since the O Levels period, more because of its cover that makes you want to grab it and find out the plot of the book. Apparently, it's Twilight and it's about a vampire love...weird right? Lol. And I didn't know dating a vampire can be so romantic and intriguing, giving me second thoughts about dating one myself. Haha.

P.S. Seems like many of my friends and people are working or applying for jobs...well actually I wanted to try to work at a child care centre, but my mom said it's better to enjoy holidays, go out with friends and all...so I guess I'm the odd one that's not working...seems so fast that we are of the working age...lol.
